REVOLUTION

Name: Radio 538

Story:
This campaign was pitched to Radio 538 to announce their upcoming Revolution event. The teasing campaign used text-based print and outdoor ads that describe the dance event in a semi-cryptic way, with a clear reference to the 'flashmob' phenomenon. Flashmobbing is the surprise gathering of people at weird places doing weird things, usually organized through blogs and mobile phones. In 2003, it was just on its way to become a small hype.

The posters lifted the event to an exciting and intruiging status, or you could say 'revolutionary'. However, Radio 538 decided not to use the idea, opting for a traditional poster campaign instead.
